Guiding Students from overwhelm to confidence.
Through one-on-one remote coaching, I support students in strengthening executive function skills like organization, time management, and communication, helping them stay focused and feel capable again.
When school feels like a daily battle, you’re not alone.
Maybe your teen is skilled and capable, but their backpack is overflowing, deadlines keep slipping by, and every Sunday night turns into a scramble. You’ve tried reminders, planners, and pep talks—but the frustration keeps building, and their confidence is starting to fade.
Hi, I’m Ella—an executive function coach and former classroom teacher. I help middle school, high school, and college students who are stuck in cycles of procrastination, disorganization, and overwhelm learn practical tools for time management, planning, and follow-through.
My coaching is personalized, supportive, and grounded in experience. Together, we build structure and confidence—so your teen can take ownership of their learning and enjoy school again (and you can finally exhale).
“Ella stands out as an exceptional coach and communicator, both in terms of understanding each child’s unique profile and partnering with parents. Her warmth, encouragement, and practical learning approach empower children to move themselves foward. As a teacher, children were drawn to her, parents trusted her, and colleagues depended on her insights and collaboration. Taking her professional experience to coaching will undoubtedly have a powerful and positive impact on the children and families lucky enough to work with her.”
-Annmarie Chesebro, Director of Arbor Center for Teaching at Arbor School and Pacific University
Ella is a deeply relational, strengths-based student advocate and educator. Ella brings fun and authenticity to her work with youth and is student and family-oriented in ways that stretch far beyond what is typically seen in the profession. Ella sees students for their innate gifts and potential and pushes them to see this within themselves in engaging and developmentally appropriate ways. In my experience working with Ella, she stood out as a highly skilled educator and family partner. Any child or family would be extremely lucky to work with Ella.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Coaching is a great fit for middle and high school students who are capable, and motivated to do well—but struggle to manage the growing demands of school and life.
Students who benefit most from coaching often:
Feel overwhelmed juggling classes, activities, and homework
Have trouble keeping track of assignments, materials, or due dates
Procrastinate or avoid tasks until the last minute
Want to do well but get frustrated when they can’t follow through
Need support learning how to plan, prioritize, and stay organized
Are open to trying new strategies and working toward more independence
Coaching works best when students are willing to participate and curious about how to make things feel easier and more manageable. It’s not about “fixing” them—it’s about helping them discover tools that fit how they learn and think.

I generally recommend weekly coaching sessions to build momentum, foster accountability, and support lasting habit formation. Session frequency can then be tailored to each individual’s goals, schedule, and stage of process.
-
All coaching sessions are held virtually. This allows students to meet from the comfort of home and gives families more flexibility with scheduling. My coaching is interactive and personalized—we use shared documents, visuals, and real-time planning tools to keep each session engaging and hands-on.
-
I kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a session without charge. For cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled time, you will be charged the full session fee. No-shows will also be charged the full rate.
I understand emergencies happen—just let me know as soon as possible and I’ll do my best to accommodate you!
